This is sometimes next to another game that looks almost identical but doesn’t offer an advantage. That game may even be called Ying Cai Shen, but I believe it has the words “Fortunes Fulfilled” included and doesn’t have a spot for coins to collect.

There are a few ways to play this game, with one being having at least one coin in columns three, four, and five. Annoyingly, I forgot to snap a photo of that somewhat common setup, but you can see below I’m pointing at two coins in column five, so pretend it’s one apiece in columns three, four, and five:

You’d then keep spinning until you trigger a column wild, achieved by landing another coin in that reel. You’d then spin twice, with the dream being to get all three columns wild, even if it’s just for one spin. You can see someone was able to do just that here in the previous spin:

Now, if I were to spin that, I’d only have the fourth reel wild for one spin (one coin remaining), which would not be good enough to play. However, I would play if the third column was going to be wild for one or two spins:

I’ll play that for two spins because I have two coins in that third reel. So after my first spin, assuming I don’t improve anything, it will look like this going into my final spin:

I’ll then take one more spin, hope for a small win, and be done.

If you get lucky, you’ll get a bonus with three gold chests. Those also annoyingly block line hits on an already small board, so hopefully those don’t show up if you have two or all three reels wild for a spin or two.

The bonus often disappoints, but every now and then you’ll crush it. You’re awarded 10 free games with the possibility to significantly expand your reels and get additional spins if you land three more chests. What’s fun is if you do trigger a reel wild, it will remain wild for the duration of the bonus.
