Wuwu Coins and Aztec Adventures
Similar Games:
None, though adding something to reset the counter to three is common in many slots
Risk Scale:
Green (usually a few spins; sometimes upward of 15x the bet)
Minimum Play:
At least two of six coins collected. There’s a spin counter above reels two to four.
Other:
You’ll often get to five of six and then still miss the bonus. Don’t be deterred!
Here’s another easy game to explain:
It’s a little hard to read on the Aztec Adventures screen, but there’s a spin counter above reels two to four. In this case, it reads “3 of 6 coins, 3 spins left.” The coins stick from spin to spin, as long as that meter has a number next to “spins left.”
Here’s that part blown up:

So above, we have three chances to land at least one more coin and if that happens, the spin meter resets to three. The goal is to eventually have six or more coins total, which brings us to a bonus.
When looking for plays, I want at least two of six coins collected. The example above had three, so that would be a good play. In the example below, this time on Wuwu Coins, you can see we only have one of six collected:
Some grinders might play even one of six, but I’ve been going with two or more. Because the spin counter resets each time you land a coin, this game sometimes costs you around 15 spins, only for you to not even reach the bonus after collecting four or even five coins. That’s always frustrating, but the bonus at least often pays moderately well when you do reach it.
With Wuwu Coins, sometimes you can land chests as well as coins, and for our purposes we count the chests as coins. So one coin and one chest show up as “2 of 6 coins,” which is all we need to follow.
In the base game, landing a wild symbol with your coins also turns all of your coins wild for that spin, leading to some decent line hits. Something like that further shows why this game offers an advantage with the more coins you have collected.
