Pillars of Cash
Celestial Fortune and Festive Fortune
Similar Games:
Some elements of Hexbreaker 3 if you really squint.
Risk Scale:
Green (usually a few spins; sometimes upward of 15x the bet)
Minimum Play:
The first and fifth reels are the easiest to hit, followed by the second and fourth. Third is the hardest. For a play, I’ve been chasing anything that pays 10x my bet or more. But the yellow dragon needs to be above the reels for them to be active. Some pros want at least 15x the bet.
Other:
It’s ideal when the first or fifth reels have bigger values attached.
This is a low-risk offering that rarely costs you more than 15 spins. I’ve been looking for something like this:
Take a look at the pillars in the third and fifth reels, where you can see a yellow dragon sitting at the top of each. For you to consider playing, at least one yellow dragon needs to be active, as they are in the third and fifth reels in this example.
Now, the reels aren’t awarded at equal rates. The outside reels (first and fifth) hit most often, followed by the second and fourth. The middle reel (third) is the rarest to hit and is unsurprisingly the most valuable.
For a play, I’ve been chasing anything that pays 10x my bet or more. If the middle is active with that yellow dragon out, it’s always worth chasing until the dragon recedes into the background. However, be prepared to miss it way more times than not.
If two or three dragons out add up to 10x the bet or more combined, that’s fine too. So how about something like this?
Here, it’s a $1.60 bet with active reels in columns one and five, equaling $14. If you divide 14 by 1.60 you get 8.75, so just under 10x the bet and technically not good enough to play.
A reel can’t be awarded unless the dragon is out, so don’t bother looking at the other inactive reels when considering playing. Line hits in the base game don’t pay much, so winning usually comes down to hitting a column you’re chasing or getting lucky and triggering a bonus.
Admittedly, having the second or fourth columns adding up to only around 10x the bet isn’t much of a find. But to keep things simple, sticking with 10x or more won’t get you in trouble long term.
Those small green circles on each pillar tell you how many spins the dragon will be active. Landing a coin in the corresponding reel resets the counter back to the max of three. If you don’t get a coin during those spins in the corresponding reel, the dragon recedes and that pillar is no longer active.
I have one video of the game:
