Risk Scale:
Green (usually a few spins)
Minimum Play:
Two or more purple wilds, with at least one of those in column three. They move up one space each spin, so they can’t be at the top of the reels.
Other:
The advantage is small and you’ll need to put your voucher in to check for plays, but at least you sometimes find some big bets for a spin or two. Pay no attention to the size of the pots above the reels.
First, make sure you’re playing Hurricane Horse and not Terrific Tiger, Marvelous Mouse, or Carnival Cow. I know, I know. The game names are ridiculous. They all look similar and have that fun alliteration, but wilds only stick from spin to spin on Hurricane Horse.
You’ll be looking for something like this:
You’ll never see wilds (purple things) in columns one or two in the base game — you know, where they’d be useful. Instead, they appear in columns three, four, and five. That’s why even a nice find, like in the photo above, isn’t that much of an advantage.
In this game, those purple circles move up one place for each spin, so the ones at the top of columns three and five in the photo above aren’t in play for the spin coming up. Still, I’d play with two or more purple wilds, with at least one of those in column three.
Something like this would be about the worst I’d consider playing and some pros may turn this one down:
