At the bottom of the board with all the different bets, you’re hoping to see a small fortune cookie above a bet. That small fortune cookie means you’re still in the bonus, so play until it’s gone.

An interesting game with a fun trick!

This is a slot some grinders get wrong, in that they chase high-numbered flowers rather than what you really should be looking for. First, here’s what the game looks like:

Some of those flowers get very large values underneath them, eventually to the point of being a play in rare cases. But that’s not what you’re looking for. Rather, you’re hoping to see a small fortune cookie above a bet:

Yes, you read that correctly. You’re looking for a fortune cookie directly above the bet.

But why? Weirdly with this game, you have to pay for your spins while you’re in the bonus. Almost every other slot that I can think of gives you a bonus that you don’t pay for. If you get eight free spins, it’s eight free spins. Not so with Fu Blossom. So people unsuspectingly cash out while in the bonus. That’s when you play, and you can tell you’re in the bonus by seeing that small fortune cookie above a bet at the bottom of the board.

As mentioned, you’re trying to play this game while it’s already in the “fortune spin” bonus, where all wins are multiplied by 2x and can increase from there. As long as you’re in this bonus — which you also can tell, since the screen and music are different — you’ll play, regardless of the size of the flowers. Of course, it’s even better if the flowers have some sizable prizes.

You’re still paying for every spin in the bonus, which is bizarre, but it’s a useful wrinkle for our purposes as slot grinders. So you can lose money while you’re playing and in the bonus, but it won’t be more than 30 bets on the high end.

Here’s my video that breaks things down even further:
