Risk Scale:

Red (bring at least 500x your bet)

Minimum Play:

The red is the hardest to land, followed by the green and then blue. Play if you see blue 65 or higher. Also play blue-green combos, with more emphasis on the green; something like a 35 blue with an 80 green. Leave after hitting either.

Other:

A rare, dangerous game.

For this game, you don’t want to solo-chase the green or red:

The numbers don’t go higher than 99, but that doesn’t mean they must hit at 99. That’s a key distinction. It’s sort of like the emerald color in Follow the Yellow Brick Road, which caps at 50, but doesn’t need to hit at 50.

As you might expect by looking at the screen, the red is hardest to land, followed by the green, and then blue. That said, you can still sometimes find some meaty blues on this game and I start playing them at around 65.

Something like this is a play because of the blue at 71:

Some pros also play blue-green combos, with more emphasis on the green; something like a 35 blue with an 80 green. You’ll often lose and hit the blue before the green, but at least you can get off after hitting the blue and have an outside chance of smashing a great green.

A friend described this game as like The Great Tiki, a very volatile game we’ll get to soon, so that should tell you to plan accordingly and bring at least 500x your bet if you play for either a solo-blue or a blue-green combo. You shouldn’t chase the red by itself at any number, but different combos involving the red exist if the numbers are high enough.

There are a few bonuses.

Landing orange birds in adjacent reels give you at least six free games, depending on how many you get. This bonus doesn’t often pay much but has an outside chance to be 50x your bet or higher. This isn’t the bonus we’re chasing, but it’s always great to hit something like this along the way on such a volatile game.

Then there’s a wheel bonus, which also isn’t the bonus we’re chasing. For this one, you need at least three numbered coins, with one of them having the word “wheel” imprinted. You then spin a wheel, where you have a chance at some huge wedges but usually hit something small.

Finally, hitting three fire birds in a hexagonal shape gives you the blue. It’s four for the green and five for the red. The size of the board increases if you hit the green or red and you have a chance of expanding the size of the reels in the blue bonus if you hit a line of orange birds.

The pay range for this bonus is extreme. Some pay 20x your bet, while others pay 500x your bet. That kind of payout volatility makes this already difficult game all the more dangerous.
