Risk Scale:

Red (300x for mini, 500x for minor, 1,000x for maxi)

Minimum Play:

Combos like a 30 mini, 25 minor (around 55 on the bottom two). Or a 25 mini with a 30 maxi (around 55 too). If you do chase solo numbers, a mini in the mid-40s, a minor in the mid-40s, a maxi in the 50s.

Other:

The mega resets at 80, while everything else resets at eight. Don’t chase what might look like a huge mega!

You can see what I mean in the “Other” section below:

Azure Dragon is a volatile game, and in some ways it reminds me of Wolf Run Eclipse and Cats Wild Serengeti with its volatility and setup. However, those bonuses are usually pretty solid when they hit, but this one can still disappoint. I’ve been down hundreds of dollars before chasing a mini on min bet, so know going in this could go quite poorly like a Buffalo Diamond kind of game.

In my video posted at the end of this section, I was experimenting on a $1.76 bet with a 27 minor (i.e., not a good play at all). The mini, minor, and maxi all reset at eight, so 27 stood out, especially compared to the numbers I saw on other machines. That said, as I said in the video, that was a “best guess” at the time after doing a little looking around and talking it over with some friends. The game had just come out, so go with my updated numbers here, not what was posted in the video.

Here’s what the game looks like (no plays in this example):

This is a prime game for combos if you want to play it. Don’t worry about the mega, as that almost never hits. But something like a 30 mini, 25 minor would get my attention, and I’d leave after hitting either (assuming the remaining number isn’t above a solo minimum play). Another example: a 25 mini with a 30 maxi.

If you do chase solo numbers, a mini in the mid-40s, a minor in the mid-40s, a maxi in the 50s. That said, even those plays can end up being losers in this game at times. That’s how volatile slot machines go, especially in small samples.

You can conveniently see all of the numbers on the bottom of the screen, so you won’t need to click on anything to check for plays (unless you want to switch denoms):

Here’s one particularly brutal run I had on min bet, where at one point I was down over $600:

You won’t see numbers like that almost ever. In this wild example, you’d want to play for the mini, minor, and maxi, as all three meet the minimum play requirements for solo-chase points.

Here’s my video of Azure Dragon (again, the game had just come out, so I played it much too early):
