Also, and this applies to other games as well, the pearls block line hits. That means if you have them in columns one or two especially, you have almost no chance of getting lucky and making anything on connecting symbols from left to right. Again, you don’t need to necessarily factor that in when looking for plays on this game, but it’s an important general slot concept.

Here, we’ll have three active pearls the next spin, but because we can see there are no pearls potentially directly behind them, this isn’t as favorable as our first photo, which only has two visible pearls. Some pros won’t play this one, even though it’s technically three pearls on the next spin.
