Rocket Rumble
Similar Games:
Stack Up Pays and Ascending Fortunes, Regal Link Lion and Regal Link Raven
Risk Scale:
Green/Yellow/Orange/Red (it all depends what you’re playing for)
Minimum Play:
Check the four numbers for the blue, green, purple, and red rockets. They’re all must-hits: 15 for blue, 20 green, 35 purple, 100 red. This is a game where you’ll often play for combos, but a 98 red, 31 purple, 18 green, or 13 blue are conservative solo suggestions.
Other:
Regal Link, Stack Up Pays and Rocket Rumble may all be capped (numbers can’t exceed a certain point), but they can still be volatile, depending on what you’re chasing.
First off, ignore the rocket-boost meter entirely. At first, I thought playing when the meter was toward the end meant something, but I have enough of a sample of playing and watching where I’m confident it has no bearing on anything.
Instead, check out the four numbers for the blue, green, purple, and red rockets on the main screen. They’re all must-hits, which means they must be hit by certain numbers. They are 15 for blue, 20 green, 35 purple, 100 for red.
Something like this is a grand slam find:
The blue builds the fastest, followed by green, purple, and red. Of course, blue usually pays the least, with red always yielding a massive hit. This is a game where you’ll often play for combos, but a 98 red, 31 purple, 18 green or 13 blue are conservative solo suggestions. Some folks drop all of those numbers by one and still play (may be a bit casino-dependent as well).
But this game is often all about the combos. Let’s go over a few close ones that I would play:
- 11 blue with a 16 green
- 12 blue with a 15 green
- 10 blue, 15 green, 30 purple
In fact, a pro I trust will play any blue-green combo at 26 or higher.
The only color I didn’t get a chance to see in action was red, and as I mentioned, it grows incredibly slowly. If you chase that color, even if it’s something exceedingly rare like a 98, make sure you bring at least 2,000x the bet with you. It’s possible chasing red might cost even more than that. I won’t play it lower than 97. If I’m chasing a purple, I still want at least 500x the bet with me.
Once the colors reach their must-hit points, you’re awarded 15, 20, 35, or 100 free games, depending on which color you land. You can also get lucky and trigger one of those colors early, but you can’t plan for that.
The bonus has some elements of Treasure Hunter’s free games, where it can start off slowly and pick up steam as you get toward the end of your spins and you eliminate symbols.
I somehow don’t have my own video of Rocket Rumble, so here’s RandomSlots’ clip below:
