Dragon Flame
Similar Games:
Some similarities to Wild Break (Pigtastic and Zensational), Ocean Magic and Dragon Sphere
Risk Scale:
Green (not much more than 15 or so bets on the high end)
Minimum Play:
Looking for wilds in the first three reels. What you don’t want to do is chase a promising-looking grouping of wilds that might be six or so spins away from reaching the bottom board. I play if it’s just one spin and I have a wild in either of the first two reels. If it’s the third reel, I want at least one in the fourth too. But a better play is two or more wilds in the first three reels.
Other:
Not a game with a high ceiling and you don’t see it that often, but it’s low-risk as well.
As you flip through the different bets on Dragon Flame, you’ll notice some have wilds included and others don’t. The wilds stick from spin to spin and all move down the board one place each spin. On some spins, additional wilds are added, but you can’t plan for that to happen.
Here, like with many slots, you’re looking for wilds in the first three reels. In the video, I say it’s sort of like Dragon Sphere and it is to some degree. It’s basically Ocean Magic, but in reverse. You can also see groupings of wilds coming much farther out than you can in either Dragon Sphere or Ocean Magic. In that way, it’s a little like Wild Break (Pigtastic and Zensational).
So, what’s a minimum play? Something like this:
You don’t want to chase a promising-looking grouping of wilds that might be six or so spins away from reaching the bottom board. Sure, you might win a few bets when they finally enter the frame, but you’re likely wasting a lot of spins before they arrive.
I play if it’s just one spin and I have a wild in either of the first two reels. If it’s the third reel, I want at least one in the fourth too. But a better play is two or more wilds in the first three reels.
Now, if I’m investing three or so spins to get a healthy grouping of wilds that will hit the main board at the same time, I could be convinced. It’s a tough game to give exact yes/no minimums on, but the more wilds you have in the first three reels that don’t require many spins to enter the frame, the better.
Something like this is nowhere close to good enough:
