As you go through each bet and denom, anytime you see the number five, play. Once you spin and reach number six, you’ll have a chance to turn one or more symbols wild. If you get really lucky, you’ll turn the whole screen wild and net a huge profit, but you can also make very little if you only change one symbol and nothing lines up.
Some pros play at four or more discs instead of five on lower bets, and the logic does make sense (only for min bet and the one right next to it). That’s because when the numbers reset on the board, the bigger bets reset at higher numbers.
I can get behind that line of thinking, especially with min bet on each denom, but if you want to keep things simple for this game, just play when you see the number five.
The bonus for this game can be epic, although it comes randomly and is quite hard to hit. I’ve only managed a Lunar Disc bonus a few times over many years of playing. To get it you’ll need three or more bonus symbols.
