Minimum Play:

At least three coins/dollar signs in the first four reels. Play any active wild in the first three columns as well. There needs to be at least one symbol still present in a reel for a wild to be active for the next spin.

Other:

These two don’t play exactly the same, but they’re close enough that it made sense to group them together. In both, Vanna White is, of course, the star of the show. Both are simple games where you’re playing for nice line hits and hoping for a lucky bonus.

Here’s what you’re looking for:

I want at least three coins in the first four reels. Some people might insist on at least three coins in the first three reels and it’s close. The fifth reel rarely factors in for the play, so I don’t count that. Above is Wheel of Fortune Wild Spin Live. Below is a similar example of a minimum play on Wheel of Fortune 4D:

Instead of coins, it’s money signs, but it’s the same idea. My minimum is three dollar signs in the first four reels.

But what are we trying to do exactly? Well, once you get two coins/dollar signs in a reel, that reel turns wild for two spins. And like so many slot machines, there’s a left-side emphasis for line pays. Ideally, you build your play to something like this:

The next spin, you’ll have full wild reels in the second, third, fourth, and fifth. That’s a guaranteed smash for at least one spin — comfortably 25 times your bet, depending on what symbols drop in the first reel.

That’s a dream find or a dream build more likely, but what about some other examples of plays?

I play any active wild in the first three columns as well. I italicized “active,” because you need to make sure something will be in play for the next spin. Like with Golden Egypt or Ocean Song, among others, at least one symbol needs to still be present in a reel for a wild to be active for the next spin.

For instance, something like this might look interesting, but it’s not active:

The previous two spins had wilds in reels one, three, and five, but for the one we’re contemplating playing, only reel four would be wild. Had there been a coin in reels one or three, I’d have been interested for at least one spin.
