Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls
Similar Games:
Cash Falls (Huo Zhu, Pirate’s Trove, Island Bounty, Outback Fortune)
Risk Scale:
Green (usually a few spins)
Minimum Play:
Any column that’s two or fewer fireballs away from completion with a Fire Link ball. Otherwise, any column one fireball away and adding up to at least six times the bet. Some folks will also chase columns that are two fireballs away if they add up to 10x the bet or more.
Other:
This game merges two casino staples, Ultimate Fire Link and Cash Falls. Interestingly, the original game, Ultimate Fire Link, doesn’t offer an advantage, but this hybrid game does.
So are we looking for the same thing as we would in Cash Falls (four times our bet)? Not exactly. For one, you need to go through each bet within each denomination, because it doesn’t have that fun blue-border shortcut on the bottom of the screen like Cash Falls.
Also, because this game includes Fire Link balls, which offer an additional bonus when hit, we need to be tighter with our minimum play. Why? Well, part of your money is paying for that and the casino needs to win sometimes!
Any column that’s two or fewer fireballs away from completion with a Fire Link ball is a good starting point. Something like this is a slam-dunk play:
You’ll notice we have two chances to fill up column three and net $6.25 plus whatever the Fire Link bonus pays should we hit it. And it’s only a $0.75 bet. Additionally, though we’re not going to attempt to calculate the likelihood of it landing here, column five offers at least a little additional value in the outside chance it fills and gives us the balls plus the bonus.
While that play is obvious, what about this one below?
I’d also play this. You’ll notice it’s a $1.50 bet with a column one away and $15.50 up for grabs in that column. That’s over 10 times our bet, and so while we know we need to be tighter than we would for Cash Falls, anything over six or so times our bet is fair game.
But what about the example below?
On the surface, it may seem like a decent return: $16. But hold on a second, it’s a $6 bet. That means we’re playing for a 2.7x return, which doesn’t meet even the minimum threshold for Cash Falls, let alone this Frankenstein of a game.
What about the example below, though?
It’s a $1.75 bet and column four offers $5.60, or 3.2x our bet. No thanks. Column two might look mildly attractive at first glance, but notice it’s complete, so it hit on the previous spin and isn’t in play for us.
This is the problem you’ll sometimes run into with Ultimate Fire Link Cash Falls: intriguing on the surface, but the balls are deflated. Because of the second bonus feature, the balls often have low values.
As a positive, it’s not a game all pros check through, so you’ll find some attractive plays from time to time. It also pops up in a number of casinos and is a game you should 100 percent add to your checking routine.
I have a few videos to break things down even further:
